There was a time—however fleeting—when the federal government was seen as a neutral arbiter. A referee. A securer of rights and protector of liberty, not a political actor. But that time is long gone.
Today, the government of the United States is not only bloated. It is weaponized.
Against whom?
You.
Not the cartels.
Not the foreign adversaries.
Not the corrupt insiders gaming the system.
But parents who speak out at school board meetings. Pro-life activists praying outside clinics. Political opponents of the regime. The everyday American who dares to challenge the narrative or status quo.
Welcome to the real America—where your own government sees you as the enemy.
What Does Weaponization Look Like?
There’s no need to be polite. Let’s not pretend this is business as usual. What we’re watching isn’t a series of isolated overreaches—it’s a pattern. A system. An intentional use of state power to crush dissent and enforce ideological conformity.
The FBI labels concerned parents as “domestic terrorists” for objecting to critical race theory and gender ideology in their children’s schools.
The DOJ raids the home of a former president over a paperwork dispute—while the sitting president’s own classified-document scandal gets white-glove treatment.
The IRS targets political nonprofits that challenge the regime, delays their applications, and audits them into silence.
The CDC and NIH collude with Big Tech to silence doctors, ban dissenting views on COVID, and punish anyone who strays from The Science™.
The CIA meddles in domestic politics—again—by organizing a letter to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop story right before a presidential election.
And let’s not forget the January 6th committee: a partisan spectacle dressed up as justice, hell-bent on criminalizing political opposition.
This isn’t oversight. It’s overkill.
This isn’t bureaucracy. It’s retribution.
This isn’t a government. It’s a regime.
How Did We Get Here?
The Founders warned us: give men unchecked, consolidated power and they will abuse it and use it to punish their enemies.
The administrative state, born from Progressive ideology, was built on a lie—that experts are neutral, that agencies can act without bias, that “public servants” will always serve the public.
It was always a fantasy.
To quote Churchill, these supposed civil servants are no longer civil or servants. They think they rule you. What we’ve seen over the last century is the natural evolution of the administrative state into a tool of political warfare. A permanent ruling class that will do anything to protect its power—even if it means destroying the foundations of the Republic.
Once the bureaucracy became political, once the alphabet agencies became enforcers, the gloves came off.
Who’s Really in Charge?
Not Congress.
Not the voters.
Not even the president—unless he plays by the regime’s rules.
Ask Donald Trump. The moment he rejected the legitimacy of the administrative state, the knives came out. The Russia hoax. The two impeachments. The endless investigations. The Mar-a-Lago raid. The indictments. The lawfare.
All for what? Putting America First? Suggesting that elected leaders—not bureaucrats—should be in charge? That we should dare to have a government of, by and for the people?
That’s the real crime in the eyes of the regime. Question the Leviathan, declare that you in fact decide and it will strike back.
Why It Matters
This isn’t about Trump. This isn’t about any single incident or election. This is about a pattern of systemic abuse. It’s about a government that has turned its vast power inward—against the very people it was meant to serve and protect.
And once that line is crossed—once government is used to destroy political enemies—it’s almost impossible to walk it back.
Because when the precedent is set, when the weapons of the state are normalized for domestic warfare, the Republic dies. Quietly. Legally. Bureaucratically by death of a thousand cuts.
And make no mistake—this is the future the Left wants. One where opposition is criminalized. Where dissent is deplatformed. Where liberty is conditional.
What Do We Do?
Expose it.
Defund it.
Dismantle it.
The Leviathan cannot be reasoned with. It cannot be reformed. It must be broken, shattered into a million pieces.
Congress must cut funding to the DOJ, FBI, and every other agency being used as a political weapon.
The Trump administration must purge the bureaucracy, eliminate entire departments, and reassert control over the executive branch.
Laws must be passed—at the state and federal levels—to block coordination between government and tech companies, to protect whistleblowers, and to punish those who violate constitutional rights under color of law.
And that’s just the start. But if we don’t act, if we don’t fight, we are not just spectators to tyranny.
We are complicit in it.
The weaponization of government is not accidental. It is the logical end of a century-long war against the Republic. Against the Constitution. Against you.
But it’s not too late.
We still have a voice. We still have the Constitution. We still have the truth.
Now we need the will.
Stay informed. Stay bold. Stay ungovernable.
Ryun, love the art and your blunt straightforward perspective. Certainly progressivism could have wound up becoming as we are today, yet it some how magical evolves effortlessly transmogrifies this nation in 100 years into a tyranny totally unlike everything the Founders framed. I propose two additional ideas. One is thing called pride and sin, which once a nation goes down this path, bad things can happen to it. The Hebrew scriptures confirm in numerous places that God brings consequences to a person, a family, a city, a nation when they willfully turn in rebellion against the Lord. The USA is bent on reckless and swollen evil. The nation has really turned away the moral commandments of God. Two, the infiltration of authoritarian communists into our nation has proved successful beyond measure to introduce into the system, a poison that does not weaken, but continually gets worse and worse. McCarthy was correct. Martin Dies was correct. NIxon and HUAC was correct. The USA has grown into this leviathan that is poised to nullify its very contract of freedom with the Lord because of these two strangleholds. We are in some ways approaching a place of no return perhaps except by the grace of God, Donald Trump came along. Its going to take a long hard road back to what the Founders gave us.
Although I agree with what you are saying, having become just another "statistic" of the slave hunting/gaming bureaucrats and their show trial courts, who always defer to the most detrimental opinions of what the demands of justice should condemn. Once a life is taken, who but God has the power to restore it? When whole American Families can be taken hostage to Satanic Eugenicist posing as "Public Servants, (aka Serpents)' The poor and imiserated populations do not have the wherewithal to combat organized criminality on municipal levels. Is it considered a "Badge of Honor" to be branded as a criminal by those who are actively committing and covering up crimes against humanity? Those same people who force genocide/democide (as per 18 U.S.C. 1091) on the poor will continue to cite immunity with impunity, living in denial that these issues were never an issue with those families that were targeted by their ire for extermination? If the U.S. Constitution is indeed as per Article 6, Clause 2 (The Supreme Law of the Land) and those in all branches of government are made to swear an oath to uphold and defend said law, then how can so many "Color of Law" decree's be anything but ispo facto? Inquiring minds want to know.
